Osteoscan UK Ltd offers bone health screening using REMS technology (radiofrequency echographic multispectrometry), developed by Echolight SPA (Italy).

Using REMS, Osteoscan UK provides access to earlier screening of bone health compared to traditional technologies, with immediate easy-to-understand results.

Dr Nick Birch FRCS (Orth)
Nick is a co-founder of Osteoscan UK and is our Managing Director.​ He is a specialist bone health coach based in Braunston near Daventry, Northamptonshire.
He held an NHS consultant orthopaedic surgical position in Northamptonshire following specialty training in Cambridge and London. He is a past editor for spine at the Bone and Joint Journal.​
He has been a Fellow of the British Orthopaedic Association and a member of the Royal Osteoporosis Society and is a current member of the North American Spine Society (NASS) and the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD).
Sarah Pillage MBA
Sarah is the Chief Operating Officer and Sales & Marketing Director for Osteoscan UK.​
She has an MBA from Warwick University Business School.

Sarah was an editor in commercial publishing before changing career to train as a pilates instructor and to run the very successful Way of the Spiritual Warrior Martial Arts and the multiple award-winning The Pilates Centre in Coventry.
Alison Johnson
Alison Johnson , REMS Practitioner & Founder of the Cal C Health Group Ltd.

A retired South African Registered Nurse with 44 years of experience spanning critical care, midwifery, anaesthetics, primary care, and women’s health, Alison founded Cal C Health Group Ltd to offer a more natural approach to managing and supporting bone health.
Alison is a fully certified REMS Practitioner, having undergone extensive training supervised by Nick Birch who is accredited as an advanced trainer by Echolight SPA.
Kathy McDonough
Kathy has been an invaluable member of Nick's team for almost 20 years, serving as his personal assistant.
She manages his full-time diary at his full-time consulting rooms in Braunston and is the friendly voice you’ll connect with when booking an appointment there. Your experience with Nick at Braunston starts with Kathy, who ensures everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Ann Worthing
Meet Ann, Alison's dedicated Bookings Co-ordinator who works closely with Alison to manage scan appointments and the business diary.
